Produced Water Brief

The Produced Water Brief

A short email I put together each weekday morning on what’s happening with produced water in the Permian and Delaware Basins, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. It’s free, it’s quick to read, and it’s the same reading I do every morning for my consulting work.

What the brief covers

Produced water news, in one place.

  • Permian, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Ohio water news. Produced water handling, saltwater disposal (SWD), and recycling and reuse projects, deals, and capacity.
  • Seismicity. New events, disposal-related seismic response areas, and what operators and regulators are doing about them.
  • Regulation. State and federal activity that affects produced water, including Texas RRC, New Mexico OCD, Pennsylvania DEP, Ohio DNR, and EPA, plus permitting, injection limits, and beneficial-reuse rules.
  • Water midstream stocks. A quick look at the public companies in the space: WBI, WTTR, NGL, WES, TPL, DKL, TTI, LB, and EROK.
  • What it means. A line or two of context where it helps, so you can see why a story matters.
Who it’s for

Operators, midstream, investors, and anyone keeping up with produced water.

Operators, water midstream and SWD companies, service providers, investors, landowners, regulators, and anyone else who needs to keep up with produced water in West Texas, southeast New Mexico, Pennsylvania, and Ohio without combing through a dozen sources every morning.

How often

Every weekday morning. Free, and you can stop it anytime.
